KCW: Day One

I started with the Aubrey Bow Dress today, and surprisingly I finished it!
I've had the Aubrey Bow Dress pattern on my etsy wishlist for a while now. I'm glad I finally bought the pattern and sewed it up.
The pattern was great and came together very easily.
Because it rained all day, Christine insisted on wearing her rain boots outside with her dress.

  1. So was the pattern worth the price? I always wonder. Looks super cute. I like your fabric choices.

    1. I would say yes. It comes in sizes 12 months to size 8, and can be made into a shirt as well. So I will probably make this at least one more time. I can definitly see myself sewing this for a baby gift too. Patterns from etsy cost a lot more than $1 Simplicity or McCall patterns, but I get frustrated with their sizing. I just sewed a simplicity pattern today and it's waaaaaay too big. I hate spending time (and fabric) on something and having it not come out right. So to me it's worth a few more dollars.
