The Sally Dress

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to help test luvinthemommyhood's newest pattern the Sally Dress. Pattern testing is really fun, I love seeing the "behind the scenes" work that goes into a pattern.
This pattern is adorable! I just love the pockets. They are enormous!
The pattern has several options: elbow length sleeves, short sleeves, and sleeveless. I choose to sew the elbow length sleeves (perfect for Fall... if Fall ever comes!) I also added a little pipping to the neck hole, waist, and pockets.
The version I made was a bit too big, Shannon made modifications to the final pattern, so I am excited to sew it up again. This time I want to sew the sleeveless version (because a girl can never have too many dresses right?)
Guys, Project Run and Play is coming in less than 2 weeks!! I am so excited! I am planning to sew along with at least 2 of the weeks, maybe 3. My look for week one is almost done, and it has "Sally Dress" pockets! I can't wait to show it to you all :)

  1. Gorgeous dress and photos, but that tea party shot is especially darling! I didn't think about adding piping to the neckline, I'll have to try it out.
